We have some very sad news to share. Longtime Flare, Black Enchantress, and WitchGirls artist J. Adam Walters has passed away at the relatively young age of 61. Adam was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from E. A. Cox Middle School where he was an art teacher, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God. He was a freelance comic book artist, who enjoyed collecting comic books and listening to music. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melinda Cox Walters; one daughter, Aubrie Walters; his parents, Willie L. and Jackie Shackelford Walters; one brother, Paul C. Walters (Malinda); one niece, Jaclyn Walters Crane (Ray), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Adam will be greatly missed.
