Beginning with Champions #51 and continuing at least through Champions #63, a quarrelsome quartet of truly super heroines take over the CHAMPIONS title. Sparkplug, Icicle, the savage Tigress, and the sensational G-Girl will be rotating cover appearances, and alternating new adventures with classic tales from out of the past. The Tigress is on tap to appear in issues 51-52, 54-55, 57, 59, 61, and 63. Icicle is scheduled to appear in issues 52-54, 56, 58, and 63. Sparkplug will appear in issues 51, 53, 56-57, and 59-63. And the sensational G-Girl makes her long-awaited debut in Champions #55, followed by more adventures in issues 58, 60, and 62! As you can probably guess, in these issues of CHAMPIONS we're testing the waters for the return of these three great characters to their very own comics magazines.
